Jorge Diego Sánchez, member of the Project, presented a paper entitled “(Which-sort-of) Hospitality and Cinematographic Routes for Indian Women in the US” at the Spanish Association of American Studies (SAAS) 14th Conference entitled The Word and the Image and celebrated at University of Salamanca from April 9-11, 2019. The paper was followed by a lively discussion where politics, cultural studies and use of popular culture were questioned.
