Team Members Domingo Hernández, Rosa Beneitez and Paula Barba participated in a Seminar titled “Hospitalidad. Lo otro y sus fronteras” at Universidad Carlos III, in Madrid. The seminar was organized by Departamento de Humanidades, Filosofía, Lenguaje y Literatura, Instituto de género at UC3M and Research Project: “Sujetos-emociones-estructuras: un proyecto de teoría social”. crítica”. The seminar took place on November 29, 2018

Prof Rosa Benéitez delivered a talk called “Estética y hospitalidad: entre la experiencia, el espectáculo y las imágenes precarias”. Paula Barba’s talk was titled “Proyectando políticas de frontera: Hospitalidad, espacios y sus fricciones en The Book of Grace de Suzan-Lori Parks”. The seminar was apropriately closed with Donimgo Hernádez’s talk “Tolerancia fantasma: el arte africano y la distancia correcta”.
